This summer, Dr. Anthony Schepsis, along with Coastal
Orthopedics, and in conjunction with Beverly – Lahey Health, hosted a
week long sports medicine seminar, geared towards orthopedic surgeons having a
desire to stay on the cutting edge of technology in sports medicine, shoulder,
and knee disorders.

The course, entitled “Evaluation and Treatment of the
Injured Athlete” was held at The Harborview Resort, in Edgartown, on
Marthas Vineyard in early August. Although geared towards orthopedic
surgeons, it is also applicable to primary care physicians with a special
interest in sports medicine, physical therapists, and athletic trainers.
